Another, may want to play and interact with their many grand children without pain or discomfort. One of the most valuable things that you can do for your health is move! Motion is the Lotion for our bodies. Movement is the term I like to use in place of exercise or working out, because I want to enjoy the activity and it doesn't seem like work or a chore in my day. Movement is important, research documents this truth. I repeat, one of the most valuable things that you can do for your health is move. Shut off the television, get up from the sofa and take 20 minutes to walk in your yard, or your neighborhood. You might consider walking a little farther to the store by parking farther out in the parking lot. How about climbing and extra flight of stairs? Get a walking buddy, start today for 20 minutes. Get up and get moving , your body will thank you! Small changes, will make BIG results! Walking out the adventure of life one step at a time, won't you join me? Sabrina Here are some tips that can be used, no matter what your situation, to let go of the unnecessary busyness that may be wearing you down:
1. Stop saying "I am so busy" break the habit of saying this. Take a breath and ask yourself if your really need to take on this task or project. Ask yourself if it is necessary for you to take this on. Kindly and firmly say "no" without excuse. 2. Stop wearing a watch. I did this in 2002 as I was training for a marathon. I found myself always checking in and focusing on my time. I about had an anxiety attack, I was more focused on the time instead of the training. When you don't wear a watch you become more thoughtful, you breath and you connect more with what you are involved in. There is a reconnect to you own body and your needs. 3.Laugh, play and have fun. Include more fun into your daily life. This improves your health. Play is also an important source of relaxation and stimulation. When relieving stress, your brain function and creativity improve. Your relationships improve. George Bernard Shaw..."we don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing" |
